Torino 2006 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games
Involved in all aspects of planning and
implementation of the men's and women's Olympic Ice Hockey tournaments,
including managing relations with National and International Federations
and National Olympic Committees; recruitment, training, and management
of over 250 staff and volunteers; planning and managing the execution of
the preparation of 4 Hockey rinks in 3 stadiums; planning and managing
all equipment used in the implementation of the Olympic Ice Hockey
tournaments. Carried on the same project management for the 2006 Paralympic Games.

Ice Hockey World Championship
Oversaw wide aspects of the planning and organization of this major ice hockey tournament. Responsible for the planning and on-site implementation of strategic and operational manners, and for the on-site implementation of marketing and PR measures and campaigns as devised by the marketing department. Responsible to ensure that TV and sponsorship contracts are implemented correctly at the event. Strategic planning of event organization concepts and methods. Planning and implementation of a new Knowledge Management and Knowledge Transfer Program for the event organizing committee. On-site implementation of the IIHF's new corporate identity concept to foster brand recognition.
USA Rugby NCAA Final Four
Planned and delivered all aspects of the National Championship Finals Tournament including Event Management, Promotion, Budgeting, and Administration. Planning and implementing strategies for marketing and promotion. Managed media and press relations, organized and coordinated fundraising and sponsorship, planned and arranged promotional events, and youth clinics.
Disabled Sport Development and Event Management
While Sport Event Management is our business, it is important for us to give something back to the world of sports. For this reason, Millionsports CEO Veronika Mühlhofer has taken on a position as member of the board of directors of the Disabled Sporting Association of Zurich (BSCZ), to provide operational and strategic guidance in Sport and Event Operations for this organization.
